Summer Reading Week 3: Pet Pals

This week we’ll go “mutts” with a positively paw-some show, craft, recipe, and special guest. Plus, we have an author AND an illustrator who will teach us how to draw our own pets! Find all these fun activities in your missions section of ReadSquared.

WEEK #3: PET PALS

SHOW DAY: SUCH A LIBRARY! When Page and Kenny leave the house, their pets, Philo, Moxie, and Pip like to read books, watch TV, and play on the computer. What do they watch? A live action/animated show about a wacky librarian, a magic book and, of course, lots of animals. Based on the book SUCH A LIBRARY! By Jill Ross Nadler *Chicken Art by Esther Van Den Berg

CRAFT DAY: Pet Pop Up Books With an old file folder and a pair of scissors, kids can create their own magical pop up books!
