Friends of The Montauk Library
The Friends of the Montauk Library is a non-profit volunteer organization that supports and promotes the Montauk Library. Through book sales and other events, the Friends raise funds to sponsor resources and materials not covered by the Library’s annual operating budget.
The Friends also provide funds for cultural programs for all ages, including the popular Wednesday Movie Series, Museum Pass program, Local Interest programs and many more. In addition, the Friends also provide an inexpensive resource for gently used books through our book shop, free with donation shelf at the Library, and our “Little Free Library” located across from the Montauk post office.
You can support the Friends in a number of ways:
- Become a Member. Membership is inexpensive and provides you with advance notice of upcoming Library events.
- Renew your Membership.
- Tax-Deductible Donations.
- Participate in our Buy-A-Brick program.
- Volunteer.
- You may also PRINT a membership form to mail, or bring to the Library.
The Friends of the Montauk Library Executive Board meets the first Thursday of every month at 10:30. All are invited to attend.
